Heute abend ist öffentliche Gemeinderatssitzung in der Gemeinde Eriskirch. Einer der Tagesordnungspunkte (Punkt 4) ist der Bebauungsplan des geplanten Gewerbegebiet Tannesch.

Als Mitglied der Interessengemeinschaft Quo Vadis Eriskirch? werde ich heute abend dabei sein, um mehr Informationen über die Planung zu erhalten und offene Fragen zu klären. Zusätzlich hoffen wir, mit unseren kritischen Fragen einige Bedenken bei den Entscheidern zu wecken, die bisher unserer Meinung zu schnell unter den Teppich gekehrt worden sind oder gar nicht erst evaluiert wurden.

Eigentlich hab ich ja diese Woche neue Autoreifen bestellt, weil das aktuelle Profil (bzw. eben das, was davon übrig ist) schon fast als kriminell einzustufen ist. Und nach diesem verregneten und kalten Wochenende ist mir sowieso klargeworden, dass ich bald Winterreifen/MS-Reifen brauche. Ich soll mich diese Woche telefonisch nochmal melden - bestellt sind sie wohl schon, jetzt brauch ich nur noch einen freien Termin bei der Werkstatt meines Vertrauens.

Bei der Gelegenheit könnte ich ja mal so eine Art Rund-um-Prüfung machen lassen. Wintercheck nennt man sowas wohl.

My employer Innovations has been bought by the Robert Bosch Group today. I feel a little bit disoriented right now and i think in the long run, this will be a great opportunity. That's the first time I personally witness a merge between a real-life ("hardware") company like Bosch aquiring a software-only company like Innovations.

On the one hand, i'm happy because I think that Innovations will move on and become even better with the power of Bosch in the back. This could be the birth of some really cool gadgets and technology mixes. On the other hand, it's a large corporation and I don't want to be just a "human resource", struggling against the bureaucracy of such corporations. I'm going to pray to the corporate god that this won't happen to us and we'll stay sovereign, flexible and adaptive.

I hope I don't have to program a washing machine
